TCM Time Online Workshop

A healthy digestion is important not only for good levels of energy and proper nutrition, but also for better moods and sleep. The Chinese medicine meridian system offers us an energetic map of our bodies to help us see the connections between the health of our Stomach and Spleen (digestion) with our Heart (mind and spirit).

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn 10 Chinese medicine tips for healthy eating
  • Locate 6 key acupressure points for stress, anxiety, energy and digestion
  • Massage 2 meridians of the body to strengthen the stomach & spleen
  • Practice 3 acupressure massage techniques

Workshop Details:

  • All workshops are hosted live on Zoom. Join directly from your browser or download Zoom app for a better experience.
  • Workshops will be recorded with approximately 50:50 recording time and interaction.
  • Students will not appear in the videos but voices may occasionally be recorded.
  • Registration includes unlimited time access to the recording in the video library using the same password as the workshop.
  • After registration you will receive a unique password for each individual workshop.
  • Minimum required enrollment to run the workshop is 12 persons. Students will be notified of any cancellations prior to the workshop date and will be offered a full refund or transfer.

The Yang Style Tai Chi Sequence (Traditional Long Form—108 movements) is commonly practiced for relaxation and numerous health benefits. To get the most out of your Tai Chi practice, you need proper breathing, postures and coordination of movements. This workshop will focus on the 1st Part of the Tai Chi Form* and is ideal for anyone seeking a refresher and to refine their personal Tai Chi practice.

*Prerequisite: Prior experience of Yang Style Tai Chi Form—1st Part

In this workshop, you will:

  • Improve your Tai Chi practice with traditional training methods
  • Practice the slow, medium and fast speeds of the Tai Chi Form
  • Discover the 5 Regulations of Tai Chi Qigong: Body, Breath, Mind, Qi, Spirit
  • Develop your own personal training program and goals
